Special Skills and Training

Dr. Zakhary concluded his 6-year general surgery education at the Louisiana State University in 2015. Over the next three years, he honed his plastic surgery skills at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). UAB is a hospital acknowledged as the leading regional health center in the South and one of the largest hospital systems nationwide. While at Birmingham, he worked with and learned from the best names in cosmetic surgery and acquired specialist training in breast reconstruction procedures.

Dr. Zakhary attributes his immense understanding of plastic surgery and practical skills on the operating table to opportunities provided to him while at LSU and UAB.
