Dr. Arvind Gowda Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Arvind Gowda is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Southwest Breast and Aesthetics. He provides top quality care to each of his patients by crafting thoughtful and individualized treatment plans with his considerate and personal approach. By taking the time to understand your goals and fostering open discussion, he seeks to provide insight into achieving the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Gowda takes a holistic approach to patient care by considering the entirety of a patient including mind, body, and spirit when discussing a treatment plan. He is committed to patient education and dedicated to making your experience as stress-free as possible. He takes pride in using his knowledge, skills, and compassionate nature to make a positive impact on his patients and community.

His areas of focus include breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor adventures, exploring all Arizona has to offer and spending time with loved ones.

Special Skills and Training

Dr. Gowda concluded his four-year medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2015 after completing his undergraduate studies at The University of Michigan and a Masters of Medical Sciences at Drexel University.

He then went on to specialize in plastic surgery by completing residency training at Yale University School of Medicine. Here, he learned the skills, art and science of plastic surgery from the world renowned faculty at Yale New Haven Hospital. Following this, Dr. Gowda pursued additional training in order to further refine his skills by completing the only integrated craniofacial and microsurgery fellowship offered in the United States. He has numerous peer reviewed publications and presentations at national meetings. Today he is proud to be a member of Southwest Breast and Aesthetics where he works to use his knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the patients he serves.
